This video takes us on a field trip to look at sculpture on our art journey. This field trip takes us through some outdoor sculptures in Nashville, Tennessee, Grand Rapids Michigan and Knoxville, Tennessee. Nashville sculptures are through out downtown. We will look at many sculptures from the Fredrick Meijer Garden and Sculpture park. Then we will look at sculptures of butterflies in the University of Tennessee Gardens. Lastly we have on sculpture we had to stick in which is found in Boston Gardens.
A sculpture is a piece that can be viewed from every side. a big treat is a replica of Leonardo de Vinci’s horse. If you do some research on that horse you will find an interesting story. Maybe I’ll read you a book about it.
